Becoming great starts in the tiny moments that shape us. Our willingness to feel “small” is often where our deepest growth begins.
The Bench by Angela Marie Teeple tells the story of Lucia, who connects the dots of her life to reveal a powerful message one experience at a time. The Bench illustrates how leadership is formed in the pauses of life; the moments that slow us down, make us uncomfortable, and force reflection if we allow it. The bench isn’t a setback in this story; it’s a place of preparation. It represents those in-between seasons both in sport and in life, through loss, transition, and change , where growth happens quietly, over time and leadership is built from within in the seemingly small.
